Learning is a dynamic and highly individual process—no two children learn in the same way. At Davidson Center, we believe that success begins with understanding each child’s unique strengths as well as the areas that need targeted support.

Our process starts with a comprehensive evaluation to uncover the factors that may be interfering with a child’s learning and performance. We partner with Dr. Samantha Martinez, who specializes in psychological, neurodevelopmental, and psychoeducational assessment for children, teens, and young adults.
These assessments help clarify concerns such as:
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Anxiety and other emotional challenges
- Learning differences and processing issues
With a clear understanding of a student’s profile, families receive actionable recommendations that can inform classroom accommodations, at-home support strategies, and treatment plans to maximize success.

Our evaluations are designed to help families better understand their child’s learning profile—pinpointing both barriers to success and areas of natural strength.
If, after the evaluation, your family wishes to pursue additional support, our team can partner with you to design a personalized tutoring plan tailored to your child’s needs and goals. For more than two decades, we’ve offered individualized services across grade levels, including:
- Intensive remediation and targeted instruction
- Academic tutoring across subjects
- Homework help and study skills/executive function support
- Test preparation (including SAT, ACT, and more)
- College planning and application support
