at Community School of Davidson and tutored at The Davidson Center. As an Educational Therapist, Tanya draws on her years as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and her experiences as a graduate assistant, in which she served as both a clinician and supervisor of diagnostic teaching. As a reading specialist, Tanya integrated her clinical knowledge of the whole child who needs to be surrounded by written and spoken language with an ever-broadening repertoire of evidence-based, specialized approaches. She gained further proof of the benefits of multi-sensory approaches such as Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell when remediating. She has added Wilson Language Systems and Fast ForWord to her inventory while at The Davidson Center.
