Designing the Map for Student Success

We welcome you to partner with the Davidson Center to develop your Personal Best Plan for remedial tutoring.

Students who are below grade level in reading, writing and/or math cannot catch up without active intervention.

The Davidson Center offers a personalized and comprehensive solution to your child�s core academic needs. We provide academic testing to determine grade levels in the areas of reading, mathematics concepts and operations, spelling, listening comprehension, oral expression and written expression.

Our academic assessment provides you and your child�s tutor with a clear picture of their specific strengths and weaknesses.

The Davidson Center will work with your family one-to-one to assess your student by analyzing:

  • Work samples
  • Classroom grades
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Responses to math, reading, and writing questions
  • Student and parent questionnaire responses
  • Interviews with you and your child
After the assessment is complete, you will receive a written report from the Center that outlines your student�s specific strengths and weakness. Specific programs and varied approaches ensure that students are taught in ways they can learn. Our instruction guides students in discovering their own uniqueness by recognizing personal strengths and talents while remediating core academic issues.
